Chaplin is a rural town in the northeast corner of Connecticut. Just fifteen minutes from the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University, situated among our state forests and the Natchaug River, the Town of Chaplin offers a distinct lifestyle. Our small town offers the look and feel of a time gone by when people cared about one another. Located in the Quiet Corner (named for its relative lack of development) but close to the action at our local universities and casinos if one prefers. Chaplin is just down the road from Windham Airport, and major highways are easily accessible. We invite you to see what makes Chaplin such a special place.
