The Planning & Zoning Commission is responsible for planning the growth and development of Chaplin by regulating and defining the boundaries of of the various zoning districts. The Planning & Zoning Commission considers the existing and future movement of traffic & the segregation of business & residential districts while making such regulations.The Planning & Zoning Commission requires four members for a quorum, in addition there can only be a maximum of five regular members from any one party.
The Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Chaplin Town Hall.
