ORDINANCE TO EXPAND TAX EXEMPTION ELIGIBILITY FOR CERTAIN DISABLED VETERANS OF CHAPLIN PER GENERAL STATUTES SECTION 12-81(83), AUTHORIZED BY PUBLIC ACT 25-168
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE TOWN OF CHAPLIN AND THE TOWN OF MANSFIELD REGARDING SHARED TAX COLLECITON AND ASSESSMENT SERVICES
The Chaplin Historic District was created in 1974 to preserve the unique qualities of its fine architecture and its cultural and historic roots. We hope the information provided on our website will clarify some of the procedures that must be followed by Historic District property owners in accord with our Town Ordinance and Connecticut State statutes. If you have questions about Historic District procedures or about projects you are considering, please do not hesitate to contact the chair or any other member of the Historic District Commission. We are eager to work with you.
Meetings are held at 7 pm in the Chaplin Library conference room. The 2026 meeting dates for the commission are: 2/10/2026; 5/5/2025; 9/8/2026; 11/10,2026.
