TAX COLLECTOR

For our Chaplin resident’s convenience, we will be collecting payments at the Chaplin Senior Center located at 132 Chaplin Street Chaplin, CT on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. ONLY CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENTS DURING THESE VISITS.

NOTE:  If bills are with the collection agency, we would need certified funds to collect them and we would not be able to collect current taxes due without the back taxes being paid.

If you are unable to pay on this date, other options for payment are:

*Mail it directly to:  Chaplin Tax Collector, PO Box 944, Willimantic CT 06226

*Pay online at Pay Tax Collector and receive a receipt via email

*Drop off at the office in Willimantic at the Windham Town Hall

*Call the tax collector at (860)456-3037 and pay with a credit or debit card for a small vendor fee.

Alzheimers, Dementia & Memory Care Facilities in Connecticut

Chaplin's Senior Center is open to residents of Chaplin and surrounding towns that are 50 years of age & older, and offers a multitude of activities & events.  The Senior Center offers many weekly classes and activities such as Crafts, Yoga, Exercise classes, Pickleball, Bingo, Mahjongg, Wii bowling, a Memoir group and more.  In addition the center offers massage therapy, hair care and podiatry.  Made from scratch meals are available every Monday and Wednesday.  We have a beautiful outdoor area that includes picnic tables w/umbrellas and chairs surrounded by lovely flower gardens for all to enjoy.  The senior center is a friendly and comfortable place to gather with your friends and just hang out!
